Lockwood 001 Touch Deadlatch Installation

Lockwood 001 Touch Deadlatch Installation

Pictured is a customer supplied Lockwood 001 deadlatch touch we installed on their front door in Brunswick.

This lock was fitted in place of an existing Lockwood 001 mechanical deadlatch which was on the house for the past few decades.

With features such as locking and unlocking via the smart phone app, aswell as the keypad and key fobs.

We also install and upgrade digital locks in Brunswick for homes and businesses that want keyless entry and a smarter level of security.

If you’ve lived in Australia for a while, there’s a good chance you’ve seen a Lockwood 001 deadlatch on someone’s front door. They’ve been around for decades and they’re one of the most common front-door locks in the country.

Lockwood has now taken that same proven deadlatch and turned it into a modern keyless lock – the Lockwood 001 Touch / 001 Touch Plus Smart Deadlatch. As a locksmith, I’m starting to see more and more customers ask about it, so I thought I’d run through what it does and when it’s worth upgrading.

As a mobile locksmith, I can assist with the following

  • Check if your existing door and frame will suit a Lockwood 001 Touch
  • Supply the lock in a suitable finish
  • Install and set it up for everyday use
  • Show you how to add and remove PIN codes or key tags
  • Integrate it with the Yale Home app if you want the full smart lock features

If you’d like a quote to upgrade your front door to a Lockwood 001 Touch or 001 Touch Plus, get in touch and I’ll talk you through the options for your home.
