Pictured is an ignition lock barrel removed from a 2012 Holden Colorado RC.
The Colorado was presented to us with a key not turning in the ignition lock cylinder and had left the owner stranded.
After removing and disassembling the barrel, it appeared to have excessive wafer wear inside the lock and a substantial amount of wear on the key.
When repairing Holden Colorado and Rodeo ignition lock cylinders, it’s important that both problems with the ignition and the key are addressed at the same time to ensure longevity.
Once dismantled we clean and replace all serviceable components with new replacement parts and replace the key or remote shell with a fresh blade that has been cut to original factory specifications.
If you or someone you know has a Holden Col0rado or Rodeo with a problematic ignition lock, please give us a call for a free quote.
