Volkswagen Transporter Ignition Lock Repair

It looks like the inexperienced criminals have struck again and this time in the suburb of Eltham.

This Volkswagen Transporter T4 has had it’s ignition lock cylinder completely busted leaving the car unable to start.

Along with other damage to the immobiliser antenna, upper and lower cowling covers and broken wires for front wiper controls.

Fortunately we were able to source replacement parts from a donor car which was in the same good condition.

In the end we ended up replacing the ignition lock cylinder with 2 keys, immobiliser antenna, upper and lower cowling and rejoined some broken wiring.
